PHX has seen a lot of sub 40 nights since new year. I had two snail vines that covered 4'X8' trellis' after 2nd year. Then dropped all the leaves and went crispy dead from the top down. After pulling off all the vines and pruning to within a couple of feet of the ground, I am thinking they wont recover. Other similar vines took a hit, particularly my "boogies", but Honeysuckle and others seem to be more hardy than the snails. Any comments please? I was going for the "Wisteria" look and the snails were sensational. Can;t imagine what would replace them. Help?
Snail vine hard cold and pruning help
You may want to give them a bit of time to see if they do come back.

Here are a few suggestions for other vines that will perform well in your area.
