I've successfully potted up tomato seedlings (from 72-cell seed tray up to 16 oz Solo cups) but am unsure whether to do the same with cukes, squash, watermelon and cantaloupes.
I know some resent too much fussing with, but the seedlings are getting pretty large for their current tiny living arrangements. So -- better to put them into larger cups? Or hang on for another 2 weeks. I'm tempted to pot them up, but I don't want to stress them too much either, since it won't be long until they go into the ground.
Thanks for any experiences or tips you can pass along.

seedlings - pot up or plant out
If it's really only 2 wks until they can go in the ground I'd probably leave them alone.
In 2 weeks we have our average last frost date here, so I'm thinking they can go into the ground then. Right now it seems very likely, (it's nearly 90F on my backyard thermometer, been sweating bullets out there) but of course one never knows. We could get a late freeze, certainly.
Thanks for your input.
You need to watch out for night frost, this is an even bigger threat than daytime drop in temp, I would pot into larger pots now so you have less pressure and worry should frost still be forecast, I have loads of delphiniums through in my border about 6 inches tall and I have a load of fleece fabric at the ready to throw over the beds at the first forecast of night frost, the foliage is just too tender and we just don't normally get this amount of growth before April, I sit and watch the evening weather report for our local area, there is nothing worse than loosing all your tender plants AND hard work just because as gardeners, we are too impatient, and us gardeners are, ha, ha, ha, good luck. Weenel.
