And no bouncing up and down on those walks Missy!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

yeah right... she is bouncing off the crate sides now

Victor! Glad Jily is doing so great!

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

You made me look at Sarah's food. 26% crude protein on the dry (majority) and 9% on the wet (garnish).
My girl licked out 3 of her 8 stitches yesterday morning. The vet looked and said it was OK but she has to use the cone at bed time. We had our first short walk today on a fancy cul-de-sac she never visited. She showed the neighbors her hand stand to wet a utility pole up high.
File photo, lol.

Jen... think you need another one

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

awww how cute... I have enough to handle with the 1 Wall-e, thank you!

I love some of the comments....one was surprised that the bodies were put in a garbage can....uh duh, where do you think they go after they're dead? That they bury them individually??

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Usually they are kept in a freezer until picked up.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I thought the Vietnamese restaurant gets the fresh.

That's just the cats

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Uh uh.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

just plain abuse

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

It's gross looking too.

Thomaston, CT

Both of those articles were disturbing......those pups needed to go to a no-kill shelter somewhere.....and the owner of that cat needs to be fined! On the other hand, Andy, Sarah is looking very well!

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

Day eight has Sarah doing fine. We had our first full walk on this mild blustery day. There is still old snow melting wetting the street. She needed toweling when we returned. I worry about the grit.
The surgery involved a lot of skin & surface tissue, they removed a lot. No sign of discomfort after withholding pain meds this am.

Glad Sarah is doing so well! Don't pets just fill up you heart!

We had our meeting today with Diesel!! All went well and he is such a great dog! Harper wasn't to fond of him but I know she will come around, nothing major she just didn't like if he got close. Abby the bulldog could care less, LOL she was fine, gave him a few sniffs, gave me a look, shrugged it off, and rolled in the dirt. What more can you ask of a bully!

Atticus loved him, I thought for sure he would have been the one to gave me a problem, not at all, the hit if off right away!

He was a bit sad after his foster mom left, cried for a while and kept going to the door and gate. He has settled down quite a bit and ate all his dinner, always a good sign when they eat! I am so pleased he fit well with us. I am sure he will win over Harper sooner or later!

Diesel is on the left, he is a bit smaller than Atticus, not by much though and very lean.

yeah for Sarah!!!.. bet she is happy to get out for her walk!!!

oohhh Diesel is soooo handsome!!!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Wonderful news Ronnie. Good for you! It's always great when a homeless pet finds a new home full of love. In your picture, it looks like Atticus is looking in a mirror.

Sarah looks great Andy. You can tell in that pic that they excised quite a bit of skin. Glad to hear that she is feeling so much better.

Lucky cat (in the end) and very lucky puppy (almost met his end)

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Hey Sarah got a tummy tuck! Lucky puppy!

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

Two thumbs up for Diesel.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Diesel is not a pc name. Maybe Biofuel??

Thomaston, CT

Sarah looks great.....glad she's out walking again. Diesel is soooo handsome......guess the Danes thought they were looking at themselves! I can picture the bully in my mind ....there are 3 next door to me, always curious when I'm outside working, but they take things in stride....not like my dale who goes crazy if something new happens.....

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Who let Victor be in charge of PC?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee - scary thought, eh?!!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

VERY scary!

Thomaston, CT

Took Robs for his haircut today.....he's going into the vet's next week....I think he blew out his front knee.......plus he's having trouble walking as his hind legs are so arthritic....some tough decisions coming up for me.......

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

My heart goes out to you, Marilyn.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

aawww... poor Robs... wishing the best for both of you

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Wishing the best for you and Robs.

This is what's hard about having pets. They are with us for only a while. Make the best of it.
Sarah would freak out at a groomers, lol. She's a 'wash & wear' girl.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Jily hates the groomer as well... Lily is nervous but will give him kisses when it's time to leave
