No the bird didn't move I just didn't hold the camera still enough!
Dreadful Birds Pix Vol. 19
Wondertul awful pix everyone.
Those shots are getting better everyday :)
LOL.....ewwww that is bad Resin!
Love the absolutely DREADFUL pics, everyone!!
Here's an interesting one:
In addition to being horribly out of focus and the colors being all wrong (the shed should be gray, not blue). . . my yard appears to be haunted! The Goldfinch can't take his eyes off of whatever that "thing" is that's floating around on the left!!
Margaret, yours bad shot is my treasure! lol. nutsaboutnature. tehehehehe by any chances you're getting ready for Holloween? lol
Yup....that parrot shot would be a keeper for me....but the cormorants shot is REALLY bad! lol
Love that finch watching the UFO!
Whoa! That's better. Many thanks Resin. The past few days, mama RBWP brought this youngin' here. He learnt quick on how to pick up peanuts from feeder and brought to that spot to peck at it. Thanks again for clearing up the pic.
Wow. . . How'd you do that, Resin?
Resin, if you can clean windows with the click of a button, can you send me the link?
oh shoot...wanted you to come to my house next! ;)
Yes, Bernadette, proud Papa is really happy accompanying Junior. :))
The last one looks like a great egret, maybe? Awwww, the ducks and the deers should have brought much fun.
I wasn't sure because it looks so much smaller than the blue heron that have been visiting the pond. Maybe it is a juvie...if you look at the grass behind it ... that is no more than knee high.
I could maybe lighten the pic of the deer and ducks but it doesn't help the fuzziness. I was walking down the hill trying to snap the pic before they bolted so kinda hard to keep the camera still when your hurrying. I also had to do a major zoom on a little point and shoot camera. I wish there was a camera that did stabilized pictures for a decent price (under $250) out there...anyone want to chime in?
here is another pic of a bird that I am trying to identify but it is a really crappy picture too...
Yep, Great Egret
Resin
Tehehehe, that bird is really mysterious. Looks like it's spying on you Nan. Spooky! LOL
From the outlines, I thought I saw a Squirrel stands on its hind legs with the tail flopping. lol
No-one would argue with you, Kim. LOL
I am not able to be on as much as I was because of school starting. Also, our internet is very flaky right now.
Oh, I love the Osprey shot. :D
We are not aware of any successful nestings in this tree. Something always happens to the occupants. Two days before this was taken I had a good cry over the lost Chipping Sparrows, but seeing this Mourning Dove bringing in material for a nest gave me hope. I have not seen any further activity after this, so I do not know how the doves are fairing. I am not watching this as closely as I did the Chipping Sparrows. I don't want to have another good cry like that if I find out it fails.
The reason for this picture is I always like seeing the Mourning Dove's tail splayed like that, so I squatted at my "bird view" trying to watch for it's return to get a picture of it. Most often I only got the tree, but finally got this one, though poor. My legs were hurting something fierce by that time and I was glad to get up.
LOL, CB about the squatting. Like Nan I too wishing you good luck with the Doves. Nan that bird-wanna-be little one above the last pix was cute. The second, was that a portion of a mocker? LOL
