Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Since April? I'm taking those sort of pix everyday lol. Thanks Marna for the Bump-o-rama. ^_^

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

How about this? An Eastern Towhee. Caught him as he shook.

Ha! What I like about that one is how clear the eye would be (if the leaf was not partially obscuring it) while the body is all fuzzy motion.

Algonquin, IL(Zone 5a)

Those kind of look like most of my pics. Okay, maybe I'll have to start posting some of them.

Columbia City, IN(Zone 5b)

i should have at least tried to get a bad shot of an american woodcock that was feeding down by the wetlands, hadnt seen it for the last 2 years an then I saw it twice and once with 2 fledges.too far away for my pocket cam..

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Since my close encounter with the Belted Kingfisher on the back porch. I was delighted when I got to see another yesterday. Pix shot through a dirty car winshield. :((

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Awww, our daily thread is really making my a little shy about adding these. So this thread will get some update. lol. You won't believe it, but as ordinary as it may seem. I finally got a Blue Jay coming to the backyard 'table-top feeder'. Yeah!!!!

Nan, what kind of tree is that? The seedpod looks wisteria, but...it's a tree!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

I have no idea...they are all over out here. The dees and the warblers are always on them.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

I want one of those trees, if I start a seed now, maybe in a few years I'll have a good size tree? LOL I've lost a Yoshino cherry tree in early summer. I need a replacement. lol

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

it's got a seed pod, you don't want it!!! LOL. My neighbor has a locust that is a great tree for bird watching. I can see up into it. But the seed pods are terrible. She was sold one that was not supposed to have seeds!

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Okay, enough seedpods already. I do love the compound leaflets though. I've a Chinese Parasol tree that's making a ton of seedpods for the first in years. I learned from DG that it could be invasive -- after I already took a liking to it. lol

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Good good, try guys. ;)) I really had a good laugh about Linth 150 shots with no card.

I had forgotten about this thread. I did have some awfully bad shots, but I was to quick with the delete key.

This one, is about a duck, doing the duck dance. His move were to fast for my shot. lol

Very creative.

Thanks Margaret....I was wondering what word I might use to describe it!! LOL

(Zone 5a)

Now this is my kind of thread. I've not had a lot to post on the daily thread because they've been so bad lately.

On our outing Saturday with a birding club, we really added to our life list, but got few identifiable pictures. At least we know this is an Eastern Towhee, but what happened to its face?

Red-tailed hawk that wasn't shy from this end.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Ha! I have lots of those rear end shots!! Birds with Black heads are soooo hard to get unless the light is just right!

Had trouble with this shot of a Blue Jay.......

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Ha, it's frustrating when the pictures don't turn out, especially when they are for our life list, Chillybean. Happy for you that you could add more to your life list though.

Nanny, he decided to move, when you were ready for the shot? I have lots of those :)

Here's one of those. The Cedar Waxwing decided to take a bath. I had to restore this one from the recycle bin. Told you I was quick to delete, lol

This is one of my all time favourite "bad" pictures. The day he came was the first time we ever saw a Common Yellowthroat. He was sitting nearby waiting for the Cardinal to finish bathing, then hopped in.
