Teheheheh, Nan, I can almost hear the mama GBH calling out "Tuck that leg in, you'll be more areodynamic son." LOL
Dreadful Birds Pix Vol. 19
HA!!
Great "dreadful" pics everyone! :D
Lily, I nearly spewed my coffee a few times...you're a hoot and a half! Hummer dodging photo op...and "tucking in that leg..." BAWHahahahalol
DH and I have been going to a few relatively local parks and the weather has been terrible...snow and very overcast and windy...Geessh. I'm in need of sunshine!!!
Those are my excuses for my dreadful pics...lol
I've been able to add to my miniscule lifer list of 87 and bring it up to 116 within a 2-3 week period between the local parks and throughout our trip down to Florida and back.
Here is a small bunch of them...
A Pied-billed Grebe...
Good bad pics. Nan. You know, there are something in the new leaf buds that those Myrtles Warblers so cherrish. Now all my leaf are getting larger, the Wablers are also gone--to you place. lol.
yeah...still kind of neat Mrs. Ed!
that is just creepy Lily! lol
Oh Nanny, that's exactly what I was going to say. That is one creepy neck!
Thanks about the pix. Those Chipping Sparrows have been crazy all week. I don't remember them doing that in previous years. They are all over the place.
Ha! Now you know why the pros use the multiple flash setup!
Rrrr,do you have a tripod ??? i dont have a really great camera so I use a tripod to get a steady shot,Iwear my redhooded sweat shirt, set up zoom and wait, If you dont have a tripod ,a taller hard surface you can sit your camera on ,a ladder or such.. you will get your shot..good luck...Hummers are not here yet...=(
You are right, I really do need a tripod.. The hummers are supposed to be here by now, but I never see them until summer sets in.
I found my mono-pod is easier to haul around with my photo hobby.
i love when they get here an buz the hanger, and hang out like hey you gonna get the food out here..soon I hope !!!
I need one of those !!!
I take back what I said about not seeing them until summer.. I hung up the feeder a little while ago and there was a hummingbird on it two minutes later..
Whistles!!! Way to go!!! LOL
Ha ha ha, Kim. They are truly dreadful.
Oh my! Oh my!!! I've a new 'lifer'! Thank you Resin.
Congrats..Good bad photos.. =)
Here is one photo of about 150 I took today. They were all exactly the same ..... invisible. I spent about 1 1/2 hours trying to photograph Northern Cardinals against a white Dogwood tree. I had some great shots, or so I thought. When I finished, I thought I would take a quick look in the LCD. Instead, a message came up ....... NO CARD.
I knew this was going to happen one day and it finally did. That is the danger of using a card reader to download images to your computer. That's where I found the card.
So, is a terrible photo worse than no photo at all ?
My mother told me there would be days like this !
Good bad one, Nan. lol
