We FINALLY had a warm day here in SE Virginia. I checked my 2 year old fig trees and they have seemed to have already started growing (small green buds at the end of the branches)
Is it too late to prune them back?
Thanks Jean
Too late to prune fig tree in Zone 7
not in my book - I used to prune them in spring because they fruit over the entire tree not just ends of branches (had a brown turkey fig - however, mine was 20+ yrs old when I bought the house)
How much pruning are you needing to do?
