retta

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Oooooh, Elizabeth, that is a pretty brug! I like the yellows too.
Retta, I bet you would really like painted Lady. It's a deep pink, and blooms it's head off.At least the one that Elizabeth shared with me does. It is my favorite single pink, that I have. If mine makes it ok, thru winter, I'll make sure you get a cutting, if you don't already have it.
Charleen, it's good to see you too! Sounds like spring is close in your neck of the woods.Speaking of woods, have you taken Kaluah for a walk in the woods yet. I know he will love it!
Dee

Brownstown, IN

So pretty Elizabeth!

Not ye,t Dee. He is so cute. We want to get him Parvo shots before we touch his feet outside. We have never had trouble but I don't want to take any chances. You would love him, he is so cute.
It is pretty Elizabeth; as always.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3a)

Very nice!

Sand Springs (Tulsa), OK(Zone 7a)

Awesome brug elizabeth. I love the deep yellow. Would love to have a deep pink too. This is my first year for brugs. Can't wait to get them outside and see how they do!

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Crit, I'll post on here as soon as I know what makes it...sometime this Spring.Just remind me that ya want some of the cuttings, too...Don't be shy, now. I'm getting old and forgetful..lol

I had this one, loved it, but it got iffy so i tossed it. I am so scared of the yellow brugs.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Oh That yellow is a color I adore. I really enjoyed CG and Cassies curls this past summer and look forward to yardsale yellow from Faye this summer.
We are supposed to set a record high of 76 tommorrow, of course I have to work. :P~

Sand Springs (Tulsa), OK(Zone 7a)

What do you mean iffy and why are you afraid of the yellow ones?

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

I was curious too. Why are you afraid of yellow? Thanks Crit for asking...

Watertown, NY

Yellow brugmansia are much more prone to the SB virus. I have had vieus attack every yellow brug I have ever had eventually. I also love them, but fear for a spread to my other plants.

I have had two Cassie's Curls, bot have been stolen from my yard.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

My Goodness!!! Someone loved them enough to STEAL? How Brazen can you get? Can you chain them down so they will be safe. Poor dear!!!!!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Stolen? I have two CC from AuntB. I would LOVE to send you one.. I am getting rid of all my duplicates.

Watertown, NY

I had 26 brug seedlings taken from my yard last year. We ll know whoever took them probably had no idea of how to keep them going. We now only keep our plants behind locked fences. Sad that all of the people who live near us can no longer enjoy them. It also greatly limits how many I can have. i am going to have to cut way back this spring.

Thanks joeswife, I appreciate the offer, but as I said, I have to cut back. I still have over 150 plants.

I need to find someone who lives near me to come take a few big plants.

Council Bluffs, IA

hello everyone,
spring is in the air, watched 2 geese formation, yesterday, they were looking for a place to roost for the nite.
but still no robins.i guess thats because we are going to have aother cold snap.

wished i lived closer to you theraglady,i would pay you for them.wow.
thats really to bad that some people just naturally have sticky fingers.

hugs to all
retta

Good Morning Everyone
I got really busy the other day, now I can get back on for a little while, Today I am renting a booth at a store that sell antiques. I have a day bed like fainting couch from Germany, a book case full of home improvement magazines, some huge
vases, I will take photo's as soon as I get it all set up, I also have an oak chest of drawers, real oak, it's time too clean out my garage
Brenda, it's sad that people don't ask, they just steal, I am glad too have a yellow brug that is healthy, 150 Brugs that's a lot too take care of
41 days till Spring yippee, we had a nice day yesterday, but from the looks of this weekend's weather, we are getting a cold front, oh well it's still February

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

The great part of living in Ga. Retta. It will start turning green before too long. Hang in there Sweetheart. Spring is coming. I also have a Oriental peony that is coming up. It has a single bloom. Here it is. This is from last May, I believe.

Elizabeth, your booth sounds great...I would never make it in a place like that, tho. I would constantly be spending my profits at the other booths.lol Please do post pics after you get it set up.
Charleen, I don't remember, if I sent ya a peony. I very well could have, cause I had the fragrant old fashioned white ones, and some very pretty pinks, at the other house. We had this tree peony blooming here, last year when we moved in. It is a beaut!

I thought about you today when I was at a booth consignment shop looking for things to use as planters. :-) Got quite a few stout baskets that I can put the clay pots in.
