Continuing with the deep freeze, no Jan. thaw and doesn't look like a Feb. one is in our future either.
Everything has been covered in frost most mornings, it was pretty at first....but now it's old!
Now sunny and @1 degree with 5mph winds.

It was zero last night, warming to high 20's today....I've really had it, too, Pixie! I need a color other than white!

It is bright, sunny and 14 degrees in WNY. Going up to the twenties. We are supposed to get near 30 tomorrow and the temps climb a bit more each day until we should see the 40's by next week. Much better.

We only got down to around 20 last night, now 32 and sunny. But I am inside cheering for the Egyptian people . I just hope they choose new leaders wisely. I doubt I will ever forget that seen of the Mubarak thugs racing through the square on a camel past a passive tank. Who falls next? Patti

Should be warming up here, & if it does, I must try to dig out my mailbox....must climb on top of an ice bank to retrieve mail & paper, & I'm getting heartily sick of it!

34° We were at an iris meeting today so could not chop ice. Robindog, you would be surprised at how many roadside mailboxes are just a door peeking through the snow here.

Currently a balmy (compared to what it has been) 36 degrees in WNY. Only light snow flurries expected with no accumulation. The warm up and melt down has begun.
