Bought bulbs late in the fall and never got them planted. I live in zone 6.
Obviously I'm too late to plant them outdoors.
Can I salvage these bulbs? Can I plant indoors and transplant in Spring?
Too late for my tulip bulbs?
Have they been chilled. If not I'd get them somewhere that you can keep them between 32 and 40 degrees or so. Then you could pot them up or get them into the ground. I've had some success and some failures.
me i would plant them. its still cold enough i would think in your area to plant them and take the shot.
Hi vcoffin,
I'm no expert and I imagine you''re looking for someone with experience with this, but how about trying to replicate what would have happened if they were planted. ie, Pot them up. Harden them off over 2-3 weeks, then leave them in an unheated garage until spring (assuming you're buried under several feet of snow like we are).
Here are 2 links to dealing with this:

Thank you very much. Looks like there is some hope. Appreciate the guidance.
They may not bloom this year, but should the next. Nothing lost but some blooms by planting them now, and they won't to to waste.
