Peace lily question

Miami, FL(Zone 10b)

I have a garden facing South and I have a spot under a tree where not one bit of sun passes through so I was thinking about putting my peace lily there since it likes low light. Because I've had it in a pot inside my house and it didn't flower ever again since I bought it. Tell me what you guys think I should do.

mine stay outside in the shade most of the time and grow really good. freezes or cold winds seem to be the only things i need to watch for.

I am sure these lilies flower best when they are pot bound, that is filled it's pot with roots before you pot them up again into a larger pot,
In your case, why not pot your plant up into fresh new compost, (not too big a jump in pot size) give it a good drink and after a day or so, dig a larger hole out in the garden, add as much leaf mold or damp compost as you can, put the plant inside the pot into the hole, this way IF it ain't happy, all you have to do is life the pot and place it somewhere else, I'd also suggest you add a small plastic bottle to the planting hole, (cut the bottom off) this way you can add water to the roots of these lilies as too much water around the crown of the plants can rot them, mist the foliage often to keep the leaves looking healthy. Best of luck. WeeNel.
