Hi everyone! I actually got this plant at an auction, it has babies and looks nice and healthy. What I don't like about it is that its off center in the pot, so I would really like to replant it, take out the babies and give to friends and family. Its so big that I am very intimidated about doing this. What is the best way to replant this and remove the extras?
How do I replant a giant aloe?
I would not transplant it until spring, it will be easier to transplant than you think, I've never had one with a massive root system. When you do remove it from the pot loosen the dirt around the sides of the pot and gently lift the entire plant out, the babies may simply fall away,I would then put the mother plant back in the same pot centered like you want it to be and use a good succulent potting mix. She's a beauty by the way :>) Hope this helps you.

I found some more info for you here :>)

Thank you so much for your advice Christine! I really appreciate your help.
That is a very nice plant, very symmetrical in shape. Congrats on a great find!
Thank you! I went to the house auction JUST to get this plant, I had no idea at the time it was so big!
