Very pretty!
What are You Ordering 2011 #2
i ordered hosta and sedum from a coop over on cubits - anyone have extra shade? will need some!
Am really loving Dawn!
Bill, I have plenty of shade!
Me too......about 1500 feet worth. ^_^
I loved Dawn too.
Caroline was my mothers name.
Love Caroline
That's one thing I'm missing is shade
I just bought clem Veronica's Choice, and Dragon Heart, Orkney Cherry and Perfect Storm geraniums, and colocasia Mojito from Mamajacks co-op on Cubits. Thinking about achillea Strawberry Seduction for 3.00 each. Clems are 5.25. geraniums 3-4.00.
Klehm's catalog came today so I am thinking. Difficult to think garden spaces with snow on the ground. An astilbe with red stems & pinky flowers looks interesting.
that klehms cat. is very tempting!
thx sherri wanted to check there before ordering the veggie seeds.
may be forces to order one clem from wwf as i can not find it anywhere else.
Which one?
I folded, my order from Klehm's :
Acer palmatum 'Tsuma Gaki' ('Red Nail') (Bill or victor...you have this one? Course you do....how is it?)
Hydrangea arborescens InvincibelleTM Spirit
Hydrangea arborescens 'Pink Pincushion'
Lilium martagon 'Mrs. R.O. Backhouse'
those are really cute
They are so stateley
do not have that one celeste
i just did a quick check on it - looks like a winner - have a couple different zone ratings 5 - 6a so you may want to consider a container and bring it in the garage for the summer.
here is a link of jm pic's on greers site - http://www.greergardens.com/Japanese%20Maples%20Amoenum%20Group.pdf - on page 59 and a few following are pic of a mature tree - and the excuse to look at some others too :)
pirl the clem is diamantina - if you find it elsewhere let me know
With all this talk about Klehm's I had to order their catalog
Thanks for the link Bill, not enabling are you?? LOL
Ge, your picture is lovely!! I've admired them long enough and just went ahead and hit "add to cart' before I could change my mind.
Way to go, pixie!
Thanks, wha. I was actually just curious but may have to visit WFF's site "just to look".
Bill, the Diamantina is new this year, I think. I'm getting some in a flat, so they should be available in local nurseries. A few other new ones this year are Amethyst Beauty, Reflections, and Shimmer. You should start seeing those in the nurseries.
The name rings a bell, Celeste. I'll check my list.
Forgot to say that I used to buy clems from Joy before I found Debbie, GC and Brushwood. They were small but nice.
Jen, the peonies from Klehm's are gorgeous, but right now, I'm just looking. Did cave in to several things from Brent & Becky's.....glad Pink Lady, and a species lily hansonii, that I will try to hide from the red lily beetle....I also am thinking about martagon 'Arabian Knight', but I love Mrs. Backhouse as well.
I have been ogling the B&b catalog as well. Will be ordering for sure. Alocasia, colocasia, lilies, among others.
victor how does brushwood compare to debbie?
Debbie is better, but BW is good.
thx
Out to lunch w/GF's just read Pixies declaration.
You wont be sorry you ordered the Martagones. This season will be the 3rd so I have great hopes.
Who is Debbie again? I have short term memory loss
Silver Star.
Oh yeah sounds vaguely familiar....LOL
Junior moment??
Oh man, you have no idea!!!
Don't feel bad - me too - and way too often.
I blame it on the kids
You young pups shouldn't worry about memory.
