2011 whatcha sowing this year ??

That is what I used to tell my staff when I trained them on the computer - just accept that it works, let the computer geeks worry about why. I saw a few gnats in the little greenhouse, will have to head out with the cinnamon, I sure like using something so simple.

I do want to know how things work, but I also am not adverse to using something that works, even when I don't know why. I'm pretty sure I don't understand anything beyond the basic concept of why my TV works, but I don't not use it because of that.

I orded my question wrong. What I intended to ask was how is the cinnamon used?

I just sprinkle it on the soil. Still working on the perfect method. Sometimes from the shaker it goes on a little heavy/clumpy. Lately I've been shaking it onto my palm and taking pinches with the other hand. So far I haven't killed any seedlings, so I figure it doesnt need to be an exact science. Other ideas, anyone?

I use a powdered sugar shaker and the cheapest dollar store cinnamon I can find.
