Going out for Chinese for b-day dinner
What's on the menu for 2011?
Year of the rabbit coming up!
Kinda wondering how crowded it will be at the restaurant
This is why it takes me so long to grocery shop....and why I totally recommend making and baking your own food.

Fake blueberries? Good grief......will pick & freeze more from the farm this summer! Had family over for lasagna today, sister brought salad, the others brought their appetites!
Not surprised.
Me neither..love those bluets..have been eating them like crazy this winter and they happen to be sweet, they are coming from Chile I read..oops, hope the ones I am bying are real...lol...
OK the zucchini is called gray squash in the stores..
later guys...still enjoying the last bit of sunshine...
Interesting about the blueberries, incredible how they get away with that!
Our 21-year-old son is making supper today. We are having what used to be called "The Rachel" at the restaurant he used to work in. It is marble rye bread, pastrami, cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing all grilled together. Mmmm, mmmm good.
Yum - sounds good.
I just bought mini wheats ... with fruit in the middle .. going to check the box
Pastrami is good...no matter which way you cook it...ENJOY IT DAV.....

Buy fresh fresh...I do not care for organics and I can tell you why...
Ok you go to the grocery store...it says organic...uhmmm you wonder where the stuff is coming from..if it is from latin america, God bless you...LIKE there is no ORGANIC MANGOES anywhere...lol....just had to say it...American produce yes, from other countries, NOOOOO it is not happening...they just want our dollars..I am latin I can sya this for certain...

Clemen - pompano is a fish that is closest to swordfish of any fish I know. It is thick, white meat. It is generally caught in the shrimp nets, if I recall correctly. To my knowledge, they don't fish for them in particular; they just catch them in the nets and so they aren't very plentiful. Expensive, but worth it!
I love leftover nights. I made a double salad last night so I could have the other half tonight, along with the rest of the green beans that I added almonds to. I just had to cook a different meat (pork last night, beef tonight) and we were all set after a lovely walk at the River with the most gorgeous sunset in history! I'd have given anything if I had had the camera with me........the brightest orange and rose and vivid purple and pink and blue over the very blue water.....it rose to a spiritual moment! I love walking as it is just getting dark. We got to look in at all the people eating dinner....lol. They leave their blinds open to see the sunset. Thankfully, they are all our friends, so we just wave. :)
Hey fl girl...sounds wonderfull..too bad you did not take a pic...wanna see so bad...Pompana fish...,uhg,,,going to be on the look out..now..YEAH tell your friends to keeo those BLINDS WIDE OPEN...I love to see through too. LOL...
