Nice ones Resin! The snow scene is very pretty!
Thanks for starting the new thread!
Good pics at the end of the last thread from everyone!
Merry Christmas to all you birding folks. Nice pictures. Poor Grackle.
Nice pics GP! Love the Christmas Hawk!
Nanny, Handsome Cardinal!
Rose, That is so cute!
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Nice shots teddy and GG!
How nice for the Flicker to pay you a visit on Christmas day GG!
Lily, your little wp is a cutie. The "lord" is sure a handsome guy. Cute grebe too!
Teddy, glad you're seeing a wp too.
Resin, thank you for the beautiful new start. The snow on the trees is gorgeous and I love your birds, especially the Redwing shot. Great job.
GP, I feel bad for that grackle. I have a few birds here with injuries too, but they seem to be doing just fine. Merry Christmas to you too-cute one.
Nanny, your beautiful cardinal is sure colorful for the holiday.
Rose, lol love your holiday greeting too. Very clever!
Granny, love your flicker visitor. You lucked out with so many wps-great job.
I had a great time with four Acorn Woodpeckers at one of our parks a couple days ago.
There is a red-headed woodpecker that has discovered our suet cake, I almost got him, but my camera does not zoom that far. And the battery is getting tired, so if I can take more than two pictures at one time I am lucky. As you can see, I am getting better getting the quicker shots, especially of the tufted titmouse. I went out for awhile and it was amazing, the smaller birds were singing and chirping to me, and also flying around and getting seed out of the feeder and the ledge while I was still there.
Really like those shots Mrs. Ed. Nope, no snow here and you can keep all of it out there!!
Yep, the woodpeckers have found the suet. I am awaiting the arrival of the Pileated from across the way, plus the Red Headed Woodpecker; plus, I have a few Hairy from time to time.
I missed Mrs. Flicker this morning. This camera makes me nuts!
Duc, I Love those Acorn Woodpeckers! You have so many nice birds all around you!
Good shots Mrs Ed! Love the dogwood!
GG, Can't wait to see the rest of your woodpeckers! No snow here either. :-)
Merry Christmas everyone. I love all the Christmas cards on our thread, but Roses' and Margaret's are my fav. Oh, the one that Rian has with a Santa wrapping around the Chimney is precious too.
GG and Duc, woodpeckers heavens you both have! I love the N. Flickers and the Acorns.
We seldom see snow here in our neck of the woods. But, the snow may have moved from the NE to the SE Pelle. We've lot of snow since early this morning. Only temp. is a tad warmer; thus none has stuck. Here is a male Cardinal bracing the SNOW down South this morning. lol
I think we had a visit from a Carolina Wren this afternoon, he hid under the top of the birdbath we have leaning against the tree, I tried to snap a picture but my battery went dead again. Will try again later.
Merry Christmas to all!
Resin - great start, this thread in MOVING. I really like the pic of the Redwing eating berries in the snow.
gardenpom - you really nailed the rump of that Warbler.
nanny_56 - old, but nice pic of the male Cardinal.
rose - nice caption on those sparrows.
teddy - another great woodpecker pic.
GrannyGrunt - wow, three different woodpeckers using the feeder.
duc - those Acorn Woodpeckers are beautiful.
Mrs-Ed - nice Tree Sparrow and Junco pix.
Wow, Lily, you got snow. Here, its 42 and rainy/wet. It may be freezing tonight.
