Terrific shots and captions, Dave.
"iIT'S A BIRD'S WORLD" VOLUME 9
Thank you GP and thank you Kim. I am going through some of my pictures of BB fledglings from last year and some of them are almost hilarious. (At least to me). I don't have the gift for captions that you and some of the others on this forum have, but some of the pictures almost speak for themselves.
You must get so much joy out of watching these little ones.
Dave, I think your captions are hilarious! And your photos are wonderful. The two parter really cracked me up.
Patti
Heeeeeheeeee. Wonderful Dave! ^_^
Whether it's one or 2 or six "parter". I love them all. Thank you Dave for sharing your joy with us. Everyone here did a wonderful job. I don't know how to create the caption. But I do enjoy everyone else's work. I consider myself very lucky. :))
Wonderful pics and captions Dave!
That's really cute Dave!
I just love, love that one. lol what a character! Gracie? Buster's sibling?
Dave, That's so cute!
Aww, that is sweet! Get her glasses Dave! :-))
Yes, Kim, We originally planned to get just the male but when we went over to pick him up, he and this little female were the only two kittens left and well, since they seemed inseparable, why break up the set? Absolutely no regrets. She is the sweetest thing. Buster is bigger and outweighs her by a couple of pounds but their markings are very similar and we still get them confused if they are not together.
What's he happy about, Margaret? Cooler weather?
I wish, GP. There's no sign of autumn yet and winter is only three weeks away. Our maxima are still between 25C and 30C (77-86F). And still no rain!
I thought for sure your weather would ne nicer by now.
I love your happy cormorrant. Wish the drought will soon be over for you.
I'm sure this cycle will pass. Compared to the weather events other places are experiencing worldwide, I have nothing to complain about.
Ha, cute one Adel!
Cute Cormorant comic Margaret! Fantastic photo.
Adel, The hummer comment is hilarious. Now if he was just riding a bike. ^_^
LOL, poor Grosbeak!
^_^ Good one!
LOL! She is stocking up for a rainy day. What a cool backyard bird to have!
I couldn't stop laughing on that little gal. So much like me in a way when I tried to lose weight with an appetite for an elephant. lol.
These Mexican Jays were very curious. They would come very close and just watch us whenever we went out on the porch of our cabin in Big Bend National Park. When we didn't fork over any food, they would squawk loud and get even closer.
Photo edited: In addition to adding the caption I also removed a few stray branches in the photo.
LOL, very cute!
Well done, Patti.
Oh, Rose! That is absolutely hilarious. The expression on the face of the one in the foreground perfectly matches your words.
Thanks for making my morning!
Good ones Patti and Rose!
Just love it. Nice job Rose and Patti.
Welcome mnshutterbug! And what a great way to start out. That is so funny. And a lovely photo too!
