This Red-tailed Hawk was watching us from a power pole.

Here's an unusual color for a female Mallard. She walked right up to me.

And Resin says (thank you!) this is a Domesticated variant of the Mallards.

Is anyone here participating in the Christmas Bird Count? It starts today. Our local Audubon is just doing it all day Saturday, but we're really covering a large area.

Another yellow-rumped shot. I like it because you can see all his yellow parts.
