Wow Duc, you sure have a great variety of Christmas Card photos there.

Lakeview, OH

I agree with Mrs_Ed, you do have some pretty pictures that you could put on Christmas cards, it sure beats what the commercial ones put out, because yours is in nature, yours is not something someone made up, yours is God-given for all of us to enjoy and it is free, you don't have to pay to see it. Just slow down and take a look, they are everywhere for all to see and enjoy.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Margaret, lovely Pelican shots. and always enjoy the Kookaburra.

Wish more would slow down to take a look sometimes...funny sometimes you feel like your by yourself when talking with others about nature and whats out there...until they have their moment they do not know.

Burn I want your Grosbeaks! I would be so excited to see those, they are beautiful!

Nice shots nanny! And yes that weather is headed here...thanks for the reminder!

Hack, nice shots! ...you have a great variety of daily visitors!

irisMA, my Juncos are here but are too timid to come to the feeder yet.

Well I only have one shot too share...been testing the new flash but the sun has been out the last couple of days...lol

Thanks for starting the new thread duc! Love all your berry pics!

Burn, I adore those Evening Grosbeaks!!!

Nanny, Love the Brown Creeper!

Nice variety Hack! Love the Carolina Wren.

Burd, Lovely shot of the female Red-bellied Woodpecker!

Norman, OK

Those berries make great pics, duc. I have a Nandina that is covered with red berries, but never see any birds on it.

A couple of Mourning Doves in my kale.

The male Downy has finally ventured up from the creek. The Red-bellied hasn't shown up yet.

I currently have about 15 GF's that visit a few times daily, but this little fella stays in the yard near the feeders. I think he is the same bird that did this last winter.

I refilled the finch feeders and put fresh suet in all the feeders in anticipation of the of the weather coming. Will get to the safflower feeder today and top it off. We are only supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow but the winds are predicted to pick up to 35-40 mph.

Wow, how this thread is moving at an exellerated pace! I can't hardly keep up. Thank you Duc for the new start with beautiful birds highlighted among festive colored berries. I love those (and just about every single one of others, lol). The trio water birds you posted on the last thread was so cool. Margaret, the Wattlebird is one currious bird! The Pillicans are so beautiful and unusual looking as well. Hack, I am glad you've a many number birds that I've seen in the neighborhood, so when I can't capture their pics. I can alway rely on yours. Awww, new toys added to your hobby before Santa even arrive? Enjoy the new lens. Rose, I always longed for more of your photos, thank you for sharing. Burd, and Burn, whoa! Love your pics. and love love to see some of the birds that you've in your regions that I don't get to see down South. Those Evening Grosbeaks is wayyyy cool.

Burn, love those grosbeaks! Great shot of the wp too. Hope you'll get some pics of the waxwings soon.

Nanny, love your little creeper and titmouse.

Hack, great job with all those cute birds. Keep watching for the orange-variant. I read that the color of the fruit they eat determines the red or yellow-orange coloring. That makes sense because our berries just recently turned red. That Pine Warbler is just beautiful. What a great assortment of birds-enjoy them.

Burd, I love what you and Teddy wrote about nature and enjoying it-maybe I'm too sentimental about wildlife, but it's good to know there are people here on this board that feel the same way we do. The more we talk about our birds, the more people become aware of them. Your wp photo is gorgeous!

Red, I have several Nandinas with berries covering them and my birds don't touch them either. Last year when all the other berries were gone, I noticed the mockingbirds finally started eating them. Great shot of the doves, wp and goldfinch.

Lily, cute photo of your Mallards. Are you still seeing the coots too? They seem to be all over here.

I got this Dark-eyed Junco through the window.

Yes, the Coots arrived here in early winter, and stay for the duration (until early spring), then I'll miss their present for they're so much fun to watch. Here is one odd couple (female Mallard duck and American Coot) I spotted a day or so ago. Duc, the Black Phoebe is cute, every time I saw one, it reminds me of my very first visit to California recently. Your Towhee and the Wrens are slightly different than our Eastern species, just as I try to compare your Oak Titmouse to our Tufted Titmouse, I love them all.

Nan, I meant to tell you I'd love to see one of those tiny Brown Creepers one of these days. Margaret, if I ever make it to Australia, I'd love to see the Kukoobura and other wildlife there.
