turkey dinner at the in-laws
Was supposed to get a nice roast chicken with my favorite sides, but we will wait until tomorrow when the boys feel better. Hopefully, we will still be okay.
I had everything to make a New England boil dinner like Sherrie, but Hank has a tummy issue, so I put that on hold until he feels better. We were going out for an early dinner last night, but we decided to stay home instead. Plenty of other days to catch supper out. Nothing special to report for today.
I had Pizza w/ sausages tonight, DW had some homemade chicken soup I made for her today, she's a little under the weather with a cold that has been going around her office but she's getting better...
(- I know 'cause she's starting to nag again. lol!)
We ate all day long. Pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatos and other goodies.
Sick of cooking all day yesterday, so a friend & I went out to lunch....I had fried chicken for the 1st time in a long while....enjoyed it, but now I feel guilty!
Wife got me a slow-cooker for my birthday. Guess she wants me to cook even more!
Caribbean lobster tails broiled in garlic butter with a couple of leftover king crab legs tonight. -might do some steak fries to go with it.

Went out to local new burger joint...50's theme called Cheeburger Cheeburger....they have over 100 milkshake flavors and then you can make combos...they say comes out to over 350,000 combos....I had chocoalte amaretto...YUM
On New Year's Day we had black-eyed peas and corn bread.
Just put a chili in the slow-cooker. Should be ready about 3:00 when everyone gets home from work.

We just installed a new microwave convection combo oven, might try the convection out tonight. Anyone have one and any tips?

had leftover pork last night. I'm planning meatloaf for tonight.
Leftover Chinese, chicken curry which was very good, but I left at least a cup of onions on my plate at the restaurant and still picked onions out tonight.

Had a change of plans yesterday....when I got home from art class at 5, there was a message from one of my friends saying another friend from MA was in town, & how about going out to dinner....well, of course.....I had buccatini pasta with white beans, fresh tomatoes, & fresh mozarella....tonight the leftover pork.....
