Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Good morning, everyone.

Happy Boxing Day and Happy Kwanzaa!

Yesterday was pizza in the afternoon. Eldest son worked 7am-2pm, younger son worked 2pm-8pm. They work at the same convenience store which was just about the only one open yesterday. We went to my wife's parents about 8:30pm and had shrimp with sauce, chips and dips and other finger foods.

Today after my wife's 6am-3pm shift we are going with her parents and sons to Denny's. Being an AARP member I get 20% off the whole bill after 4:00 pm. Not a bad deal.

Have a blessed and super Sunday! :)

Thanks, Dave....sounds like everyone ate very well! The Inn has only 4 entrees....I chose goat cheese ravioli with wild mushrooms & pine nuts, roasted beet salad, & chocolate lava cake with peppermint ice cream......tonight it's beef stew....don't know whether my stepson will eat here or his Mom's.....I guess wherever he is when the snow starts!

Have lots of left over ham and turkey...I think a ham chowder and possibly a turkey casserole is in our future here.

And we only got a dusting here....very grateful!
