I was going to suggest checking out the Vermont Country Store catalog for old fashioned candies. You can also find some at Cracker Barrel Country Store & restaurants. We stop at those sometimes on our trips south and north. They're all along the interstates we travel. They now have a full-page low carb menu complete with grams of carbs inside the regular menu. I like to find places that have vegetables.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Chicken Francaise,,,,Yummm!!!!!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

leftover pork roast, mashed potatoes and peas. Reading this thread makes me hungry. You are all so much more diligent cooks than I am these days. I take every shortcut I can take (rotisserie chicken, etc.). However, I did make chicken salad with red grapes and walnuts for lunch. Not eating many carbs takes all the fun out of cooking.

Bill - what do you do for your homemade pizza crust?

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Eye round roast with potatoes & carrots today.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

we do a wet dough louise.
