Early in the fall, I bought some bulbs on sale. They were advertised with the caveat to hold them for planting in cooler weather. I finally went to put them in the ground and they were already growing roots and sprouting! I wasn't sure what to do and the holes were already dug so I went ahead and put them in the ground.
Any thoughts on whether they'll go dormant as the temps are about to plummet (I'm in zone 8) and then bloom on schedule in the spring?
Sprouting Bulbs
Lots of bulbs sprout now, they'll be fine. I have lilies and muscari sticking out
