potentially toxic plants with kitty coming

Milwaukee, WI

Hi all! I need help naming these plants. My mom has six plants that could be toxic so before adopting my kitten I want to make sure they aren't. I know #2 is a spider plant, which isn't toxic for cats, but I don't know the rest of them.

Help GREATLY appreciated. :D

#3 maybe Philodendron; #4 looks like corn plant Dracaena fragrans, #5 is Dracaena sanderiana (aka lucky bamboo) and #6 might be a peace lily. If I'm right on the ID's, they're all listed as toxic to cats. http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/poison-control/plants/

Hang the Spider plant and Philodendron, put the other plants in a room the kitten is not allowed in.
Not all cats will try to nibble on your plants, only 1 of my cats nibble on my plants and she only likes my Pony tail palm, ignores all the rest. Maybe your kitten will just ignore your mom's plants.
Good luck with your kitten.

If the kitten DOES chew a plant that is toxic to it, it may mean it has a nutritional need extroardinaire requirement. offer kitt foods that you would not normally offer, banana=potassium, shredded cabbage, etc
