I would like in put please about caring for a Tube Clematis-Hyacinth flowerd. I have now found that I have planted it in the wrong place. It has been in full shade for a couple of years
What are the needs for care with this plant.
Care for tube clematis
Clematis tubulosa has no special needs, in my experience. It does fine in this area with 14" of annual precipitation, very alkaline soil, inconsistent and thin snow cover, and zone 3 conditons. It would, however, prefer sun to part sun.
Thank you altagardener, didn't know about the alkaline soil and moist conditions. I'm in zone 5, I suppose I'll leave it where it is at. Thank you again.
