Hi,
Faced with a dilemma of landscaping a strip of dimension 45 feet long 1.4 feet wide and 1 feet high, along a narrow passage.Choice of plants limited to tropicals only but with only 3 to 4 hours of direct sunlight available.Being a new entrant into this field will be happy to get guidance to make it a good show piece.

It might help if you post some pictures of the area--that might help people come up with some ideas for you.
