Merry Christmas! I had a GC gift certificate and a 15% off coupon so I placed my first 2011 order yesterday.
Helleborus 'Amethyst Gem'
Helleborus 'Peppermint Ice'
Helleborus 'Golden Lotus'
Helleborus 'Onyx Odyssey'
Japanese Iris 'Lion King'
Echinacea 'Virgin'
Bill - I think I'm going to copy you on the Tiny Leaf. It sounds exactly like what I've been looking for for the head of my stream! I also love the sounds of Sunglow, but a search on Topiary yields no results on that one. Did you buy them all? :) I don't see it on Davidsan's website either :( Any recommendations for another reliable JM grower?

Yes, I prefer the shorter echis too. Can't wait till spring :)
Nice list SOJ, I really like ALL the hellebores!!
I've been meaning to plant more helebores.
I forgot to list a hellebore - Onyx Odyssey. I don't have any hellebore's yet so this will be the start of my collection :)
Where are you ordering from?
I got these from Garden Crossings. I think they are a little pricey but I had a gift certificate and 15% off code which basically gave me free shipping.
I love it when it works that way.
I've loved his pots since I first saw them on Martha Stewart many years ago.
Good son, Marilyn!
Thats beautiful Robin!! Your son has good taste!!!!
Well, son paid, DIL shopped....I gave her an extra hug! The studio is just a few miles away from here..... Guy has a 19 year old daughter, Elizabeth, who does exquisite watercolors for children....little mice, chippies, etc. all doing fun, playful things....I've bought several for my GD....didn't know until recently that this young woman was operated on for a malignant brain tumor at age 7....it took the sight of one eye, & she has limited vision in the other....I don't know how she does such beautiful work!

I buy MB every year... love them!!!
I do as well....love the Blackberry one! I have Startle DL & like it, although it tends to be streaky.....
Celeste, Just being silly....again Patti
Lady Elaine, who was dolled up in her Spanish Wedding Gown awaiting a Memorable Kiss from her betrothed who was dressed in his Admiral’s Gold for the occasion on the deck of the famous paddle wheel the Mississippi Red Dragon. It was a perfect afternoon. though very hot, more like a Mojave Morning than a delta day. The band was playing Keep on Lovin which was a bit of a Startle for the Aunt Nellie who was expecting a traditional wedding march, but she was pleased with the red velvet cake and the very special Blackberry Punch served at the reception.
.
Didnt Lady Elaine have a pierced nose?
Wasnt that what turned her betrothed off?
Didnt he leave the boat in disguise?
I love them as well and they bloom so constantly - well worth the price.
that is great patti - have come close to doing the same with sib's i ordered:)
Love it Patti!
Ge1836, ha, I think your version sounds a tad racy for DG. I always think DL names are inventive and cool, but sibs are good too. Patti
Yeaaaah how aout Roaring Jelly?
That sib just knocked me out.
Looking forward to pics of all those new DLs. I am being good until it is time to order the sibs. Already ordered too much as usual. This snow will not help curve the impulse to buy either.
I'm trying to be good.....have only a few plants picked out so far....of, course, it's early days....
i am not being good - busy putting another jm list together with davidsans - hard to make cuts
Thanks for the pic Patti
patti there are times that i think about how much they will grow - this year it is mostly dwarfs so should be a problem down the road - and i plan on removing more grass - and finally i just can't help myself! :)
It does get to be an addiction! I have so many TBI I can't count, but I'm always buying more.....
Same here with Japanese irises, dahlias, etc.
Culled over 400 TBI's a few years ago and then had to move about 200 this fall - no choice in the matter unless I wanted to send them to the dump and I didn't.
OK....not in the 400 category....yet!
It happens very s l o w l y!
So I guess the plant-a-holic meeting is now open for us all to confess our excesses. I am thinking hippeastrum, narcissus, iris, lilies, and I am sincerely trying to join a few others too. Patti
