Sweet Potato Problem

Hi

I'm new to Dave's and I'm hoping to find an answer to my sweet potato problem. The 'taters have long, linear, deep, grooves with a "sharp bottom" as shown in the attached photo. They are Georgia Jet variety and only some of the harvest showed the grooves.

Hmmmmm... I've never seen sweeties look like that. I would post your question on the Veggie or Beginner Veggie forum. There are some really knowledgable folks over there that will have an answer for you.
