Seen on a t-shirt...
"So far, this is the oldest I've ever been."
Thought for the Day - #9
^_^
Seen on a bumper sticker while stuck in traffic.
"My inner child is a mean little F*@?!" (Doesn't mean frog!)
I'd show you the photo I took, but don't know how to blur out the last few letters of that last word. But you know what he meant.
I can send you this photo of a license plate I saw on our trip. Cracked me up and I made DH pull over so I could get a photo of it. : - O
Enjoy, and have a good day.
Will start a new page for this thread later on.

I feel stupid...I can't figure that license plate out...;-( I'm usually pretty good at it too.
Here's a Thanksgiving one for today...
The funny thing about Thanksgiving, or any huge meal, is that you spend 12 hours shopping for it and then chopping and cooking and braising and blanching. Then it takes 20 minutes to eat it and everybody sort of sits around in a food coma, and then it takes four hours to clean it up. - Ted Allen
(This is Emma...note what the t-shirt says!)
Ahhhh, so it is! I thought the first letter was a 'j' Thanks Sherman!
Aw, Weegy, she's adorable! And the shirt is too funny!
I had to click on the thumbnail and see the whole picture to get it. It DID look like a J in the thumb!
Glad I'm not the only one booker! I didn't even think about clicking on the thumbnail...the turkey is still having its effect on me!
The shirt is even funnier because it isn't true!!!!!
"Intellectuals solve problems;
geniuses prevent them." ~ Albert Einstein
Works for poeple, too.
Weegy ~ Yes, I thought the same thing about the license plate. adorable granddaughter. Mine are all grown now, but they have no babies...I suppose that is good since they are not married.
sherman99 ~ 2 good ones!
kwanjin ~ Yes...the oldest that I have EVER been!! (Good quote!)
Can I just say, I'm always making words out of the letters on license plates. Can't believe I stumped you on that one, weegy. : - )
Loved seeing Emma's t-shirt. Can't believe how quickly she is growng! : - )
Great quotes, everyone. : - )
Am I the only one who finds it strange, that someone has vanity plates that declare the owner is unemployed. Does that seem kind of stupid? That isn't the right word, but why would anyone want to publicize their lack of employment? And to pay more for the privilege of making the statement? You guys need to help me come up with a better caption for that license plate. : - )
Sorry that it was so hard to read. It's not like DH actually stopped the car so I could take the photo.
Still it was one of the funny/odd things I saw on the trip to SLO.
There are 27 days til Christmas.
May I say,
"Bah! Humbug!"
So tired I forgot the reference.
Guessing Charles Dickens, but can't remember the book, unless it was "Scrooge", or was Scrooge the character who said it? Wait, wasn't Scrooge a cartoon Duck? I'm so confused. LOL! : - (
Feel free to give me the right reference, author. It won't hurt my feelings, I'm having one of those foggy brained days. : - |
Tis the Season. : - )

Got it Shermie. Then again we've both worked in law enforcement. : - )
I've always liked 10-24, which meant Mission Accomplished. LOL!
I actually have a personalized plate, but not my own car to put it on. Mine reads "ZEROGEE". I always wanted to get a plate holder that read, " I'd rather be in ZeroGee", which back then meant zero gravity, but them scientists discovered that there is gravity and they call them micro gravities. Just doesn't have the same ring to it. LOL!

Scary to think of someone with a 5150 plate driving around...
Yes, I thought it strange - no necessarily having a plate that said unemployed, but yes, the cost factor. Then, one would hope that would be a temporary situation too. Then again, maybe the cost can be a tax write-off as the cost of pursuing work (advertising).
Yes, it is Scrooge's saying, so it is Dickens. Now I am trying to think of the Disney duck with a name similar to that. Yes! There is a Scrooge McDuck: http://stp.lingfil.uu.se/~starback/dcml/chars/

That was fun...SW, I'm easily stumped but I can usually get those license plates...let's see who can get this one...this is on my daughter's car...
PNKYPWA
(Hint: It's the name of a TV sitcom from the 80's)
We were getting a little long in the tooth, so here is the next page:

Come on over!
I came across this thought ages ago and liked it. I'll share it here.
