Lots of nice stuff on the last thread!
First Pine Siskin of the season. Hope to see more!
DAILY BIRD PICS VOL. 354
I'd sure like to see a carolina wren.
I must be too far north, though I should be in the area according to cornell.
I wish I got more White -crowned Sparrows in the yard!! lol
Wow, that last thread went fast. Great photos everyone.
Mrs Ed, thanks for the great start. Glad you've got some siskins-they're such cute birds. Love all your birds, especially the finch with the maple leaves-so colorful. That robin is a beauty! I love the White-crowns. When I see them I know it's going to get cooler so I can bring out the peanut butter log.
Nanny, love those little wrens. They sure are fast little birds.
Found this White-crowned on our trip to the coast.
A great start, with the Pine Sisken, Mrs-Ed. Lovely fall colors along with the House Finch.
Nanny, if those cutie little Wren were winter hardy, I'd ask you to send some my way. ;)
Nice series of Sparrows Duc , Mine seem to have moved on, or they are hiding somewhere.
Nice shots of the Mockinbird in the Lantana, I'd love to see some of those Bunting, so colorful birds.
Wild-Rose, glad you spotted the Yellow-breasted Sapsucker, and Towhee, and were able to share them with us.
Elphaba, I love the white-throated too. They were the first of the Sparrow to arrive this fall.
The weather is not cooperating for pictures lately, this is from the Oct 31. The Goldfinches have been absent for a while, and now seem to make a come back.
We no longer see the towhees, not for 6 yrs or so. I am so glad that someone sees them.
Mrs_Ed - I love the boy house finch set against the Japanese Maple. I kind of like him better in front of the Maple. AND thanks for the new thread
nanny_56 - nice shot of the Carolina Wren. I saw one just the other day, but didn't have the 40D
ducbucin - The White-crowned Sparrow, with the red flower behind it, is a real pretty pic.
gardenpom - your Painted Buntings are beautiful.
VA_Wild_Rose, now that's something I haven;t seen in a while, your Eastern Towhee.
Elphaba - that's a nice capture of a White-throated Sparrow, I'm still waiting for one to show up.
burn_2007 - my Goldfinches are gone, too.
Hack
PS - I entered a few pix in the contest - not bird pix though.
