Wow, that last thread went fast. Great photos everyone.

Mrs Ed, thanks for the great start. Glad you've got some siskins-they're such cute birds. Love all your birds, especially the finch with the maple leaves-so colorful. That robin is a beauty! I love the White-crowns. When I see them I know it's going to get cooler so I can bring out the peanut butter log.

Nanny, love those little wrens. They sure are fast little birds.

Found this White-crowned on our trip to the coast.

Nice shots everyone! Thanks for the new thread Mrs_Ed!

I haven't been able to get out much of late, but I did see some nice birds while visiting my Mom a couple weeks ago.

I found Eastern Towhee in groups foraging in the underbrush and leaves. They were fascinating to watch!

Great start Mrs. Ed.
Love all the finch shots!
The painted buntings are just wonderful.
I had a sapsucker last week and could not get a good shot -- nice one VA_Wild_Rose.

I was excited to have a White-throated Sparrow this morning.

A great start, with the Pine Sisken, Mrs-Ed. Lovely fall colors along with the House Finch.
Nanny, if those cutie little Wren were winter hardy, I'd ask you to send some my way. ;)
Nice series of Sparrows Duc , Mine seem to have moved on, or they are hiding somewhere.
Nice shots of the Mockinbird in the Lantana, I'd love to see some of those Bunting, so colorful birds.
Wild-Rose, glad you spotted the Yellow-breasted Sapsucker, and Towhee, and were able to share them with us.
Elphaba, I love the white-throated too. They were the first of the Sparrow to arrive this fall.

The weather is not cooperating for pictures lately, this is from the Oct 31. The Goldfinches have been absent for a while, and now seem to make a come back.

Again on the 31 of Oct, there were 3 Hooded Merganser on the river, by the time I was ready for pictures, they had swam away from me.

The Red-breasted Nuthatch allowed me a photos session of him.
