Giving Thanks for November Blooms!

(Zone 1)

I think Raingazer (Amy) used to grow a Drosera or related one. I wonder if Rain is still around DG? I don't see any recent posts from her here on the AV forum.

Wow, are they grown from seed?

Northeast, MO(Zone 5b)

Wow!! May I ask where you are getting the seed? Looks like good seed LOL along with you knowing how to take care of them.

They are not from seed, this was one plant that spread via runners. These are easy to start from leaf cuttings.

Nottingham, MD(Zone 7a)

You all have posted some amazing blooms. Keep 'em coming!

I have been putting down strep leaves this weekend while feeling like a child at Christmas :) I am now keeping my fingers crossed for them. They will ALL be gorgeous if I can grow them out. I was looking up pics to see their blooms and came across Mighty Mouse. Well, I thought it was compact but I have also seen two streps with the same name. Only found one Mighty Mouse. Soooo...Bonnie and Jim, please scroll up to Nov. 1 and look at that strep. Can you ID it for me? It is not growing as a compact for me and the bloom color is purple. It is a very pretty strep whatever the correct name is :))))

Thanks so much :)

Connie

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

I'm not sure who she is Connie, but it is definitely not Mighty Mouse!!

Northeast, MO(Zone 5b)

No, LOL!! Don't think so :) I will need to ID this and two others when they bloom. Got them from Bonnie so she will be able to help me. It is blooming away and is so pretty sitting in my east window.

She's supposed to have more pink markings, but maybe she needs cooler conditions to develop them?

Love those Shanika!! Maybe the pink markings will show more on the second round of blooms.

Great growing ladies!

Bonnie: I love that Sinningia Magic Moments! Very pretty!

Shanika: Wow, you've got some really beautiful Strep's ... Jules is gorgeous and I love that AV Frosty Frolic!

Nichole: Is Ozark Blazing Embers a Strep? I love the color.

Jan: Love the deep color of Sinningia Super Orange ... that one's considered a mini? I've got to look up Gloxinella Linderiana ... never heard of a Gloxinella and I really like the look of that foliage.

Episica lilacina (that I bought from Violet Barn recently) has a bud, so maybe I will have a photo to share soon!
