Today's Weather in your Garden - 81

Sunday will be six months since I installed my weather station. In that period, I have had 26 inches of rain. Hard to believe. Most of it came in bunches.

Wow....that seems like a lot! I've had over an inch since yesterday, but not raining at the moment.....maybe a peek at the sun later today....chilly 45 right now. Oh, Louise, how I remember that 1st trip to FL with the dogs.....had to stop at fast food places, take out & try to eat in the car! That was the only time we brought them!

49° with the sun just starting to make an attempt to burn though the clouds, wind West at 12 mph with a Rhumidity of 83% , mostly cloudy. Total rain 1.1"

Rain last night and pretty much all day. 46 degree's approx. 2.5" so far.

Rain all last night which kept me awake. Only about a total of an inch. Cleared up this afternoon but I was inside watching the first day of Breeders' cup races.

Nice thing to do on a wet afternoon! Sun is out, some clouds, still in the 30s.....am really sorry that today will be the last late sunset for awhile!

Overcast and grey but not raining at least. Colder start too. Temp is at 42 degrees and the wind has gone back around to the NW.

I like it too. We should leave it all year round.

We def should leave it, or move to OH right before the time zone change, stays lighter later.

Started out sunny but clouds are filling in again now. Going downhill the next couple of days as the nor'easter backs into eastern New England and it will keep all those warmer temps west of here from getting to us. Nuts! Could even see a wet flake or two tomorrow, but will get more rain for sure, like we need more rain now. Oak leaves are every where and keep falling. I like the lighter morning but it will not last and the early darkness tonight will be a bummer. Current temp is 37 and the wind is light so far but turning to the NNE and could get gusty the next couple of days. Yuck. .

Beautiful clear blue skies here presently 44°, going up to 50° today. Winds from the N at 14mph (a little breezy, but still nice). Humidity 53%.

Sun's rays now coming in at too shallow an angle here to maintain any significant warming. Combined clear skies allowing heat to radiate outwards, with little impediment. (- love it when the weeds stop growing, I'm not fond of weeding w/ a daytime windchill of 36° anyway.. ☺)

Oh bother, what a way to start the day, SNOW! Yuck. Not much thank goodness, just a coating but enough to cover roofs. It will be gone soon, but seeing the white menace does not make my heart sing. :^( Cloudy, and looks like a pretty good breeze from the NW. Rain likely. Just at freezing for a current temp.

Snow showers here, I don't mind the white stuff, (I'm still in the NE the last time I looked), but the wind is nasty!

It's 39 degree's, we are under flood and wind advisory as it's really bellowing out there.
Sustained winds are averaging at 25-35 MPH with 40- 50 MPH gust. We had downpours during the night and woke to find many people in Maine with out power.
Two to four inches of rain expected this morning with it tapering off some by this afternoon.

It's 34 right now, the wind is buffeting the house, it's pouring down rain & sleeting at the same time.....not a top 10 day!

i and confirm pat had snow - a couple cars went off the highway that i had the pleasure to witness while sitting in traffic - no one was hurt - both were women drivers (making no judgements)

Yep it is slippery under foot. If you have to go out in eastern Ma. be cautious. Light rain/sleet now. Very gusty winds. Temp trying to get past the freezing mark, now 35 degrees.
