The first few times they show up (Sisken and Redpoll) and some Goldfinches, and it turn out a bit blurry.

Thank you Resin for the possitive I.D. Burn, it looks cold and you still have birds hanging around. I saw a female goldfinch today briefly, they she flew off somewhere for shelter. Not many others have been around, but one or two nuthatches.

One last one for me from yesterday of the waterbirds;

(this one is really bad, lol)

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

OMG Resin! That made me laugh so hard. Thank you for that.

Here's a bird that was probably just a weird looking goldfinch but I was convinced it was a new bird, so of course, I could not photograph it. It doesn't require outlining however, so I guess I'm doing good!

And today, got two yellow-rumps together but one is pretty much a blur.

Wouldn't this have been cute the bird had been in focus?

This is an angle you don't see too much. Why did I bother trying to use the digital zoom? Just dumb. Still mad that Kodak lied and said I had 26X Optical Zoom when I don't.

Thumbnail by Elphaba

Oh that would have been cute!!

I do think they used to be really bad about saying 'X amount of total zoom'...putting both digital (which is useless!) and optical totals together to make it sound like more than what it really is. People didn't understand it, but we consumers are getting smarter! I think MOST of the bigger companies are better about that now.

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

Too bad Kodak is still a big liar b/c I just bought this camera a few months ago and I looked specifically for optical zoom. On the camera, it says 26X Optical zoom, but it's a lie. You can hear it switch over the digital and those pics are always horrible. I'll stop complaining now. I kept the camera, so I guess it's not all bad!

Columbia City, IN(Zone 5b)

I hear you Kodak, had 2 loved 1 the other was a lemmon well could not ever get a clear photo, then I learned about Digital zoom, should have known ,I used to shoot with a 35mm ??? Lucky I had purchased the extened warranty I used it to buy a panisonic Lumix,Its nice ,wish I would have read more its a 10x op then I found out they have an 18xop avail...I did buy the extened warr. again.oH well I still cant take good photos !!!

I never even looked at Kodak cameras when I went digital.....wow I would be mad!

Too much zoom here for this Carolina Wren...lol

HA! But ya know that sounds good......

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Too much eggnog? LOL,LOL. I'd like some please.

Here is my contribution; Lord Byron (the redheaded woodpecker) returning to my garden after months of MIA because the tree he and his family has called home was blown down by a storm. I was so excited of his return, my hands must have shaken pretty badly. Can't blame on the camera, but ther hands that held it. :((

Pass the eggnog please..Glad Lord B is back..sad thing about his home..

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

Eggnog over here too please! Excellent birds -- redheadeds are a favorite of mine and I've been trying to eyeball some Canada geese for while! I'd be excited too Nanny.

Here is perhaps the worst picture ever! A Sanderling with a wave crashing over the rocks behind it.
