This large flower comes from this plant in the picture.
It is found it in the Klipriviersber Nature Reserve, south of Johannesburg.
It looks common, but there are not many of them around.
I also would like to know if it is medicinal or perhaps toxic.

I think it might be a Doryanthes species.
It doesn't look like, I'm afraid.
This one's leaves grow in opposite direction only; not all around the plant.
No clue so far?
