I have been successfully growing Amaryllis for several years now, and all of a sudden something has been eating away at the bulb. Right around the time this started to happen two things changed. I installed two fences to keep the bunnies out of my veggie garden. (they ate the entire garden 3 times) Also at the same time the Southeastern Lubber Grasshopper showed up in my yard. Could it possible be a squirrel too? Or a Caterpillar? It is right next to my passion vine, that's barley left from the Gulf Firlirlly butterfly.
