Nice pictures Bill, you could have been walking in Maine (although our foliage is a little further past peak).

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Beautiful shots, Bill and Victor! That looks like a really nice hike, Bill! That spider tree is bizarre, but the stones are awesome everywhere you went.

Victor - I just bought a callicarpa here, and I'm wondering if it could make it in NH? I see that both you and Bill have one. What do you guys think? I love the purple berries on them. My neighbor has one on our property line and it is such a graceful shrub with those awesome berries! I'm afraid I might lose it in NH, since I usually buy for zone 4 even though we are supposed to be 5a.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Worth a try!

South Hamilton, MA

lovely pictures. Our Am. beech in the front yard has just finished turning gold.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Lucy, I love the color of the beech. There are several along our walk in NH, and the golden shade is so pretty with the reds and oranges of the maples. I'm sure you have been enjoying the sight of it!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

My beech is only just starting.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

So pretty, we still have a lot of green here with pops of color.
Took sil and bil on a drive around our corner of NJ( for some reason never did before) tried to get some foliage shots, hubby not going slow enough to get some.
