Agapantha plant.

Lodi, CA

Do I remove the dead flowers and stems off my agapantha before winter???? I live in zone 7.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

After blooming has finished for the season leave the foliage in place; don't cut it off. The leaves will gather sunlight and provide nourishment for next year's show. Water lightly, if at all during the fall and winter. (In cold areas, bring your plants indoors when night temperatures begin to drop to the low 40s.)

(Zone 7a)

If you don't want seeds, then, yes, remove the flowers and stems, but do not remove the leaves for the reason given above.
