any body else getting tons of pop up ads lately? everytime i switch threads or blow up a pic i get either sushi, music or lottery pop ups. i'm spending so much time closing ads i don't even want to get on the site.
pop up ads
I've never had a pop-up ad. Are you a paid member? You might get the ads if you are not a paid member.
I am a paid member and I get it. It is very annoying. Perhaps it is in my computer set up. Belle
This just started for me this past week as well. Let's start a poll to have them STOP it!!!!! Turn them off.
Before starting a big fuss with a poll, just try going into My Info, then
to Manage Your Preferences and just turn off ads. That has worked for
others who were experiencing the annoying pop up ads.
Dang June you beat me to it. Here is a link on exactly that issue. There are many apps on DG that nobody knows about, I probably know the least. lohttp://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1134055/
LOL. It takes some exploring to unveil many of the excellent DG
features but often just posting the question will get you an answer!
Also at the bottom of every page is a link "Contact Us" where
you can send a message or question to Admin and get an
answer from a real person.
Thanks for the info, I changed my preferences and hope it works. It has really become annoying.
thanks. it seems to have worked.
Also, if you use Firefox as your browser, they have an add-on called Ad Block Plus. It stops all those annoying pop ups!
Kool Add on Stephanie had turned off my ads on DG but it works Awesome for other sites
Thank you
Sarge
You're welcome! I don't surf without it!
