I was unsuccessfull at growing my rosemary tree indoors and selling company replaced it twice as it was quite expensive gift from my son. I planted it outside in my garden and it survived quite nicely over the winter in zone 5.
I may have just been lucky this year, and don't want to press my luck. I would like to know how to propagate cuttings, just in case we have a colder winter this year. I don't want to over winter this plant indoors, because I have killed the past two. I will just mulch and cover with a plastic hat and hope for the best. I have read about propagating in a green glass of water. I need to hear from the experts. It is still quite warm here in NJ. Alot of my spring flowers are coming up.
