Hi all! it's been a while since I posted, been busy getting my quilt pattern business off the ground(pun intended lol). I was out in the backyard today thinking and wishing I could have a garden that our golden retriever wouldn't dig up and something that wouldn't require expensive fencing. It came to me that I have a big stack of rubber maid tubs just sitting in the basement. My thoughts were that I could line them up in a couple of rows on the west side of the house. When I'm ready to plant next spring, what would I need to do to create my tub garden? I'm needing drainage advice such as do I put rock in the bottoms, do I drill holes on the bottoms or on the sides near the bottoms and how many inches of soil. Thanks!

that is an awsome article! thank you so much, exactly what I needed.
You're welcome
I'm soon getting a 35 gallon barrel from work to make a rain barrel also. Next spring should be fun:)
