Cooper's Hawk
Daily Bird Pics, Vol. 348
That is really neat Elphaba!!
Nice pics Burd! Love the Kinglet!
Nanny, looks like your goldfinches are really enjoying the peanuts. Love those waxwings. I've never seen one stop at any of my birdbaths-will have to watch closer.
Elphaba, every year I'm amazed to see photos of the hawks. I just can't imagine seeing that many at one time.
Burd, great photos of the hawks, kinglet and red-winged.
Geesch Nanny, what a day you've had! Congratulations on your discoveries. I saw my first junco last night but it didn't stay long enough for a picture. You're doing great!
Wow the pictures you guys get amaze me! Something got into my birdfeeders last night and everything is spilled, lying on the ground or upside down. Raccon I figure but may have been a bear as I have one of them around too.
Congratulations Nanny!
Sweet pics Margaret! Thanks for talking about Rose, I figured it was computer problems.
Thanks guys! I have had a splendid couple of days here right in my own yard & neighborhood. It has been some much need relieve from stress right now.
I won't have time for much today. I am going to a school progam of Tori's so I will be gone at prim time here in the backyard, which is 2-4 pm. I am going for my morning walk tho here after I post.
Poor Rose.....I really miss seing what is going on at the farm!! I do hope she gets the Mac if it will solve her problems. lol
This Crow was putting on quite a show the other day......
Stretching or bobbing????
Nanny, those "butter butts" are so pretty.lol Congrats on still another new bird. Love the crow shots-they're just full of personality.
Growum, hope that bear stays far away from you.
Margaret, I never get tired of seeing your birds-love the kookaburra and wattlebird. Glad you've heard from Rose. Hope she'll be returning soon.
The Northern Flickers seem to be everywhere here now.
Love the Crow nanny!
Duc, Those are adorable; love the red shafted Northern Flicker!
Still a very good shot Adel, It's not something we see often.
Nanny, I want your little Nuthatch, Hermit Thrush and Titmouse, and Wren and Warblers, and and......;). Congratulation on the Gray- cheeked Thrush.
Duc, nice shot of the Northern Flicker,Titmouse and Towhee. Love the combo shot of Hummer and Goldfinch.
Laughing Kookaburra always make me smile, because of it's name, and how he seem so out of proportion with it's big bill and head to it's small body. Great shot of it and the Wattlebird.
WC, oops the nice picture of the Red-tailed Hawk, is Burd's pic he did a really good job with it indeed. Lovely shot of your Blue Jay.
On the 30th of Sept, I got this Yellow- rumped Warbler in my crabapple tree.
I have been busy doing other stuff.
First, I'd like the welcome growum to the best forum in the land
Lots of really nice pics, but duc, nanny and Burd, you all's pix blew me away - fantastic detail.
Not a lot going on here in West Central Ga.
Oh, I thought my hummers were gone, but I did see one a couple of days ago.
Now, I'm gonna get my card out of the 40D and see what I got.
Hack
Interesting ruffed grouse. I have heard them drumming while camping (sounds like someone bouncing a basketball) but I never saw one.
