I've seen that before and it was so worth watching again!!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

it was cute!

Thomaston, CT

What a doll! Love the way his paws mimicked the person's hands.

Cute kitty.
Allison, can't believe they look as big as Lily already

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes, it had tons of views. I think I'm one of the few who hadn't seen it.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I never saw it before

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Put out bird seed and suet yesterday for the first time in months. Amazing how quickly they discover it!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Jen they are usually done growing around 6 months old or so... grow quick and that's it

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Wow, never knew that.

My birds must be ticked at me, I ran out of birdseed and didn't get a chance to get any before going on vaca

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

I might start putting out seed again. I stopped when the chippies hogged it ALL. They didn't even give the squirrels a chance to eat it. Are chipmunks in hibernation mode yet?

South Hamilton, MA

Not here.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Maybe I'll wait awhile.

Thomaston, CT

I haven't seen any lately, but I did see a pileated woodpecker at the bottom of my hill yesterday....he was demolishing a snag! Did I have my camera? NOOOOOO.

Awsome!

What's a snag?

Neat video Sherrie! Cool to see a teen boy nurturing something.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I was going to ask the same thing...what's a snag?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

We used to say, 'Snag on you!', when I was a kid.

Thomaston, CT

A snag is part of a tree trunk.... sometimes.jagged where it has split off. Cool video, Sherrie!

I forgot about snag... we used to say that too

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Sherrie, that is so cute! I noticed that young man is quite tall; his head almost touches the ceiling.

What a tragic story, Victor. Breaks my heart to hear about it.

Cute video.
That's not the first time I heard something like that happening at a animal shelter, but to happen to a war hero, how terrible!

Thomaston, CT

I saw it on the news last night, & cried.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Brings tears to my eyes everytime I think about it.

News - Halloween they dyed their poodles foot pompoms and tail pompom pink. It was a washout dye and they got fined 250 for animal abuse! Whoever is running that town needs to get out or Ran out..

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh yeah like the dye hurt them... sheesh

Thomaston, CT

No, because it was an adult dog....but in FL, breeders would dye small puppies like toy poodles, & it was bad for their nervous system...that's why they have the law.....a few years ago my DH & I were at a Flea Market in FL, & there were dyed puppies...cherry pink!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Allison - how about you start a new thread with a shot of your puppies?!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

you got it

new thread
