What is this...has spiked seedpods?

My friend has this growing in 3 different spots in her garden here in Carrollton, TX. She nor I has ever seen this type of plant. It has delicate white flowers (almost similar to the 4 o-clocks). Most interesting are the spiked pods all over the stems! What is this?

Aahh..I have the Moonflower growing in a pot but the seed pods are different than this new plant. Also the Moonflower has much larger flowers. I'll have to look at the different Datura plants. THANKS!

I think I may have found the specific one....but still looking. It's called
"Chinese thorn-apple" or Datura quercifolia
