Painted Poinsettias

I have googled what type of paint or dye is used on painted poinsettias and have not gotten very far with it. Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure exactly, but I have seen them sprayed with spray paint.
I could tell because I have sometimes seen over-spray.

They sell special paint for use on flowers, I would guess that's what they use for the poinsettias. Here's an example, although there are likely other companies that sell it too. http://www.WholesaleFloral.com/Flower_Spray_Paint_s/46.htm
