Stiltweed removal

We had a lot of rain earlier this summer and I now have a major stiltweed problem in my yard. I've sprayed with Roundup in larger areas which has killed it (at least for this year), but it's also growing up within my bedding plants and around bushes (which I don't want to risk spraying).
Does anyone have any advice on:
a) the best way to kill off stiltweed for good (so it doesn't grow back)
b) the best way to rid it from my flowers and shrubs (and even grass!) without risking the 'keepers'
