That's my cousin's married name!
Travel destinations, what are your favorites?
Have fun Weez, you sure deserve the break :)
Pixie, I plan on putting my slippered feet up on the chair facing the lake and saying to anyone or no one.....it's not my problem. And watching Dexter have a blast swimming into the lake until he's too tired to swim anymore (if that's possible) and Casey wanting to swim but she won't, so she'll just dream about chasing after the ducks or geese or whatever she thinks is worth chasing. I'm so excited about this vacation, but deep in my heart I know it's a vacation for my dogs. Odds are they will both be ghosts by my side in a year or two. They deserve and have earned a week of doogie nirvana......And now I know how to get to Massachusetts!!
Hack..........really??
Enjoy your time with the, Weeze!
Thanks Victor, that's my agenda.
debi_k - where are youin the W.Fingerlakes Region, NY?
west of Canandaigua, south of Rochester
have a great time at the cape weeze!
I grew up in Fairport. We stopped there overnight on this trip.
Have fun Weeze....the dogs certainly will......
Cool ViolaAnn, that's where I lived when I first came out here.
Funny, Weeze!!! I'll tell Hank that he might really be a Hack! Sometimes he thinks so on the golf course! LOL I was so happy we got to finally meet. It's not often I meet another Weezie! I hope you have a great time at the Cape! Was it hard to find accomodations that allow pets?
The Cape has become a favorite destination!! Dexter is now Dextah.
Glad you had a good time!
It is a fun place.....
Glad you had a good time
Never been there. Recommended for kids??
love Dextah!
For any who like old cars and would like to see why we went to Cleveland last week, you'll find pics at: http://violaann.smugmug.com/Cars/356-ECH-2010/13965074_dKLUb#1026281525_KmACo
I'm afraid there's no other scenery though.
Victor, I don't know of anything special for the kids....nice beaches, though. Viola Ann, loved the cars.....would be brokenhearted if mine ended up like the hill-flipping one.....
ROBINDOG - we would too and we don't do the hill climb. Besides, we have an open car with no roll bar. It wouldn't be safe. That particular car, like most (but not ours), had been restored and I think, not particularly well restored. Looking at it up close, it was obvious there was bondo in it which cracked. A really good restoration would use metal where necessary to patch. (It would also cost somewhat more).
When my son was a teenager, he & friends restored an old jeep....Bondo was used liberally! I still see it driven around town, however, so I guess they did a fairly good job.....
Great shots, Deb! Love the panorama and the fog one.
Beautiful Deb!
Thanks!
We discovered this SP on the map, otherwise would have passed it by.
The colors were the best in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.
That fog shot is GREAT!
Nice pictures. Love New Hampshire and the fall foliage this time of year is just glorious.
very nice shots debi - the panorama and fog shot's especially!
Very nice, Deb.....have always loved that part of NE.....
Beautiful shots Deb, looks like the fall color is coming on.
Victor, it's a great family place if the kids like outdoor stuff, such as swimming and biking (miles of bike trails), but I wouldn't want to be there between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
awwww look at that face on Dextah, what a cutie!!!!!
"his many varied degrees of WET"
LOL he's near water and he's a black lab.....did you expect anything less??? LOL
Looks like a happy DexTAH!
