I have 4 succulents in one pot. According to a post in the ID forum:
The plant at the top is a miniature Gasteria, though may be just young (like a young pillansii), the Haworthia at 3oclock is a nice ribbed form of attenuata I think, and the bottom one could be retusa, and the one at 9oclock is coarctata. Water careful and sparingly if hot in summer, but in winter you can water a bit more freely as that is when they are actively growing most. Gasteria and the H retusa don't like full sun, but the other two Haworthias can handle some full sun (coarcata seems incredibly hardy to whatever environment it finds itself in).
See http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1127598/ for a picture
My questions is, if two of them don't like full sun, and they are all in one pot, what do you recommend in terms of placement - on a window sill with strong morning sun, on another window sill (we have east and north windows and it's currently on an east window), on a counter opposite a window, other? We would prefer not separating them.
thank you
Many succulents in one pot.
Indoor light is always less intense than light outdoors, so I don't think you have to worry too much about any of your windows having too much light for the ones that don't want full sun. I'd go with whichever window you get the most light from.
