I live in Missouri. How do you grow daylilies in mid-August? Mine are mostly gone by the end of July. I ask because the Missouri State Fair is mid-August and there are many entries of daylilies in floriculture. They are all beautiful!

I would suggest that you plant in stages rather than all at once - similar to tulips & daffs..
