It never fails. Every year when I am ready to bring in my tropical plants, some pots have ant colonies in them. I then have to change the soil, adding stress to the plant - and to the gardener! Of course, some ants still make it indoors, sending DH in a chemical frenzy. Is there any easy way to get rid of these ants? I am careful to put the pots on feet, and it does not seem to deter them.
